Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to Africa Mobile Innovate Hub, Africa AI Market, My Apps, workshops, and related services.

1. Who may use the platform

The platform and its AI-powered applications are intended for people age 18 or older. By creating an account or using an AI-powered feature, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and are legally able to agree to these Terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. Do not sell, share, or transfer your account or paid app access unless we expressly allow it.

3. Educational and informational purpose

Apps may support learning, language practice, business organization, farming information, document extraction, field data, and other practical activities. Unless we explicitly state otherwise, platform content is provided for educational and informational purposes and is not professional medical, legal, tax, accounting, financial, engineering, safety, agricultural-treatment, or other regulated professional advice.

4. Artificial intelligence

Some features use third-party artificial intelligence services, including Google Gemini. AI results can be incomplete, incorrect, delayed, unavailable, or inappropriate. You must review important information before relying on it. Do not use an AI result as the sole basis for a high-consequence decision.

5. Service availability

We work to keep the platform useful and available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Third-party AI, hosting, communications, authentication, payment, and other providers may experience maintenance, outages, rate limits, service changes, or failures outside our control.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the platform, attempt to bypass access controls, probe or attack the service, interfere with other users, use another person’s account without permission, upload unlawful content, or use the service in a manner that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

7. Intellectual property and app licenses

The platform, app interfaces, software, branding, documentation, and other protected materials remain the property of their respective owners. Access to an app does not transfer source code, ownership, copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights. Paid app access is a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app during the applicable access period.

8. Payments, rentals, and subscriptions

Prices, rental periods, renewal terms, taxes, and payment methods will be shown at or before checkout. A rental or one-time access period does not automatically renew unless recurring billing is clearly identified and accepted at checkout. Payment processing may be provided by third parties such as Stripe, M-PESA providers, or other processors.

9. Refunds and material service interruption

Refund eligibility depends on the product, payment method, circumstances, and applicable law. If a paid app is materially unavailable for a significant portion of an access period, contact us. We may provide an access extension, replacement access, refund, or other appropriate remedy. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

10. Third-party services

The platform may link to or depend on third-party services. Those services may have their own terms, privacy practices, eligibility rules, and availability. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond the responsibilities imposed on us by applicable law.

11. Disclaimer and limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that every feature or AI result will be accurate, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12. Suspension or termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, third parties, or legal compliance, including in response to security threats, fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or repeated violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to the service or Terms

We may update apps, features, prices, or these Terms as the platform develops. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date, and where required we will obtain additional consent.

14. Applicable law and mandatory rights

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Users in Kenya, the United States, and other countries may have mandatory privacy, consumer, or other legal rights that cannot be waived by contract. Those rights continue to apply.

15. Operator

For these Terms, the platform is operated by PrayTube, unless a different legal operator is identified on the relevant service or checkout page.
